Welcome to the Dolce Salon team! We are thrilled to have you join us as a new stylist, and we’re excited to help you thrive in our vibrant, client-focused environment. Below, you'll find a list of essential details to review before your first day. These include the tasks you'll need to complete, key information about our operations, and any necessary documents we'll need from you. We look forward to supporting you as you settle in and start creating beautiful transformations for our clients!

Dress code

All employees at Dolce Salon are expected to look and act professional around our clients.  Please make sure to look presentable during work hours or you may be asked to leave. If you have any doubts ask your manager. 

Employees are expected to maintain the highest standards of personal cleanliness and present a neat, professional appearance at all times. Choice of attire should reflect the fashion trends of the beauty industry, and be business-like at all times.
Our clients’ satisfaction represents the most important and challenging aspect of our business. Whether or not your job responsibilities place you in direct client contact, you represent the salon with your appearance as well as your actions.  

All staff at Dolce Salon should wear clothes that are keeping up with the professionalism of our industry. Our clothes should reflect the individual style and personality of the wearer.  All attire is to be in good condition and clean. 

Remember the rule: When in doubt; dress up, not down. 

For all staff to know: 

  • Hair should always be styled and reflect current trends

  • Makeup should always be done


  • Nails should be kept clean


  • Jewelry should be tastefully worn and never interfere with job performance or be annoying to customers. 


  • Shoes are to compliment outfits without many stains and don’t look extremely old. Shoes should be appropriate for comfort throughout the day 


  • Personal cleanliness and hygiene is a must. Everyday use of deodorant, mouthwash and similar products is encouraged for both your personal benefit as well as the obvious benefits to the client 


  • A smiling attitude of cooperation and support should be worn by all employees at all times 


Absolute NO’s to wear to work.

  • Hooded sweatshirts

  • Workout attire

  • Baseball caps

  • Jeans with gaping holes

  • Very low-cut shirts

  • Shorts or skirts that are too short (Should not see cheeks)

  • Causal wear (outfit you would wear curled up on your couch or go to yoga in)

Parking 

We have four parking spots available behind the salon, offered on a first-come, first-served basis. If these spots are taken, please avoid parking directly in front of the salon or in private parking areas designated for nearby businesses. Instead, use residential areas around the salon for additional parking. Thank you for helping us maintain good relationships with our neighbors!
